Media Lecturer (Temporary Role) – Stoke
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Full-time
Are you passionate about Media and inspiring the next generation of creatives?
Reed FE are working with a College in Stoke and are seeking a Media Lecturer to join a dynamic team at a leading college in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver engaging Media programmes to learners aged 16–18 across Levels 1 to 3.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Media lessons that provide a positive learning experience.
*Work collaboratively with the Head of Learning, Progress Coaches, and colleagues to ensure best practice in teaching and assessment.
*Act as a personal tutor, supporting learners’ Individual Learning Plans and coordinating tutorial support.
*Design and share innovative learning resources.
*Participate in college events such as parents’ evenings, open days, and enrolment.
*Maintain accurate records of learner performance and attendance.
*Contribute to quality assurance processes and programme reviews.
*Promote and embed English and Maths within the curriculum.
*Uphold college values and safeguarding standards, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

*Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage learners effectively.
*Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments and willingness to participate in CPD.
*Ability to maintain high standards of learner behaviour and attendance.
*Experience teaching Media at Levels 1–3 is desirable.
