Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Pattern: Onsite (mainly)
Robert Half Talent Solutions is partnering with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Winchester to recruit a Portfolio Manager / Practice Accountant on a permanent basis.
About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice accountant to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality financial and advisory services. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, providing strategic insight and ensuring compliance across all areas of accounting.
Key Responsibilities *Client Portfolio Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their trusted advisor.
*Review & Oversight: Review management accounts and ensure accuracy of reporting.
*Complex Reporting: Prepare advanced reporting packs for clients.
*Advisory Services: Provide general corporate and tax advice, as well as FD-level support.
*Annual Accounts & Tax: Involvement in annual accounts and corporation tax preparation as required.
*Strategic Projects: For high-calibre candidates, opportunities to work on corporate finance and M&A projects.
What We’re Looking For *Practice experience is essential
*You must be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax within a practice environment
*Excellent communication and client management skills
*Ability to handle complex reporting and advisory work
*Ambition to grow and take on strategic responsibilities
