Description
*Accurately process payroll for employees in a timely manner.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and legislation.
*Maintain and update employee records, including tax and benefits information.
*Handle payroll-related queries and provide support to employees as needed.
*Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure accurate reporting.
*Assist in preparing payroll reports and summaries for management review.
*Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes where necessary.
*Support audits related to payroll and employee compensation.
*Supporting across finance and HR where required.
Profile
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
*Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
*Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
*Excellent numerical and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in accounting and finance software.
*Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
*Local to Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
*Available to commute to our client’s office 5 days per week.
