Job Description:
MARKETING OFFICER
We are currently seeking a Marketing Officer to deliver innovative campaigns supporting Summer School recruitment targets for our higher education client. The role involves creating high-quality content, including copy and short-form videos, supporting media plan rollout, and managing asset development. The Marketing Officer will implement social media, web, and email strategies under the Marketing Manager’s guidance, and work closely with academics, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure campaign success.
MARKETING OFFICER ROLE:
*Creating and executing social media content and strategy across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and other channels, including UGC coordination, video editing and trend monitoring
*Managing the production of high-quality creative content, including testimonials, blogs, videos and infographics, and liaising with students, academics and other stakeholders
*Copywriting for print, web, email, newsletters, social media and presentations while maintaining the company brand and tone of voice
*Managing email marketing creation, deployment and analysis, including segmentation and performance monitoring
*Uploading and maintaining website content, identifying digital improvements and supporting SEO and AIO strategy
*Managing social media posting, community engagement, student takeovers and supporting the student community platform
*Gathering, analysing and interpreting audience data across digital channels, conducting research and producing reports to support decision making and KPIs
*Delivering integrated marketing campaigns to support enrolment and enhance the student journey
*Collaborating across the company’s community, sharing best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of marketing team effectiveness
MARKETING OFFICER ESSENTIALS:
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Excellent IT skills
*Demonstrable end-to-end experience working on publishing projects, including liaising with key stakeholders
*Proven ability to plan, create and edit short-form video content for social media, targeting a Gen-Z audience
*Ability to work as part of a small, fast-paced team, within a wider unit
*Ability to provide a high level of service to both internal and external contacts
*Willingness to work flexibly, including some evening and weekend work
