Job Description:
Our client is looking for Festive Elves to be the heart of the magic in a dazzling winter wonderland. As a Festive Elf, you’ll help bring the experience to life by greeting guests, supporting interactive zones, and maintaining the festive atmosphere throughout the event.
This role is perfect for upbeat, engaging individuals who love working with families and enjoy spreading holiday cheer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Offering £12.85 per hour. (Paying time and a half (£19.28 per hour after 6pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve and all day on Boxing day and New Years day)
Key Elf Duties:
*Provide a warm, enthusiastic welcome to guests as they arrive for the experience.
*Support festive activity areas and photo-op locations by engaging visitors and ensuring smooth operation.
*Assist with queue management, guest questions, and general event flow
*Promote the festive spirit through cheerful interactions, in-character performances, and positive energy.
*Help maintain safe, clean, and visually magical spaces throughout the event area.
*Participate in light entertainment moments as needed.
*Collaborate with the wider event team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Personal Elf-tributes:
*A naturally friendly, energetic, and approachable personality.
*Experience in performing, theatre, or character work (not essential but a bonus).
*Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with families and children.
*Ability to remain cheerful and professional during busy periods and cold outdoor conditions.
*Comfortable working in costume and staying in festive character.
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods.
*Previous event, hospitality, attraction, or customer-facing experience.
You will be able to collect uniform at the start of each shift but must return it each day before leaving. You must be available on some peak days including Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and flexible with shift times.
