Maths Teacher (Alternative Provision)
This Alternative Provision supports young people aged 11-16 who are unable to access mainstream education, often due to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, challenging behaviour, or other barriers to learning. The setting provides a highly supportive and structured environment, with a strong focus on personalised learning, emotional regulation, and re-engagement with education.

About the Role:
The school is seeking a Maths Teacher to plan and deliver functional and GCSE-level Maths to small groups of students. The focus will be on promoting academic progress alongside personal development, helping students build confidence and work towards qualifications that support their future aspirations.

You will work closely with a team of Teaching Assistants, Pastoral Leads, and SEN professionals to provide a consistent, therapeutic, and aspirational learning environment.

Contract Details:
*Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
*Position: Maths Teacher (Alternative Provision)
*Start Date: January 2026
*Contract Type: Permanent (or long-term supply with permanent potential)
*Working Hours: 8:30am 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)
*Pay-Rate: From £160 per day
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
*Experience teaching Maths at KS3/KS4 level
*Experience or interest in working with pupils with SEMH, behavioural, or additional learning needs
*Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (within the last year)
*Enhanced Child DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
*Two professional, child-related references
