Job Description:
Academics are seeking a creative, passionate and resilient Music Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic educator who loves using music to inspire and engage young people.
Role Overview
Teach Music across Key Stages 3-4 within a supportive SEMH environment Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons tailored to pupils’ needs Use music to develop confidence, emotional expression and self-regulation Build positive relationships and support students’ academic and personal development Work alongside talented SEN, pastoral and therapeutic teams Contribute to a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate
QTS/QTLS preferred, but strong unqualified Music Teachers considered Experience with SEMH, SEN or challenging behaviour is highly desirable Calm, patient and resilient Able to differentiate and adapt teaching for varied learning needs Strong behaviour management skills Passionate about making a difference through creative teaching
