Job Description:
The Operations Manager will play a decisive role in the establishment and development of our company processes and procedures during our mission critical early years from start-up to growth. Description
* Oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring smooth office functioning across HQ and local entities.
* Coordinate office setup, facilities, vendor relationships, and operational processes to support business continuity.
* Implement and maintain project management systems that streamline communication and workflow across teams.
* Manage operational documentation, project plans, and reporting to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accountability.
* Drive cross-functional coordination, ensuring operational alignment with legal, finance, compliance, and governance standards.
* Lead vendor contracting processes and support operational budget tracking, forecasting, and payment workflows.
* Monitor adherence to contract terms, operational milestones, and service-level expectations.
* Manage high-level organisational calendars and operational meeting structures, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
* Lead operational initiatives such as internal events, on boarding processes, and document-management system implementation.
* Provide executive operational support, including travel logistics and budget reporting, to enable efficient leadership decision-making.
Profile
A successful Operations Manager should have:*
*Experience in project management and/or business operations
*Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
*Demonstrable ability to build trusted relationships across an organisation and externally to facilitate effective collaboration.
*Experience of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*Proficiency using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive. SharePoint)
*Proactive, tenacious and solution-oriented with the capacity to thrive in the ambiguity of a start-up company
