Job Title: Permanent Teacher of Geography

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Geography to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore and understand the complexities of our world, fostering a lifelong interest in geography.


Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective geography lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the geography curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.
- Organize and supervise field trips and extracurricular activities related to geography.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and subject matter developments.


Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Geography or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching geography at the secondary school level.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
