Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead and manage a team of hospital-based social workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
*Oversee complex cases, including safeguarding and discharge planning.
*Allocate resources and manage team workloads effectively.
*Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (Care Act, Mental Health Act) and hospital policies.
*Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and safe discharge.
*Provide supervision, performance management, and professional development for staff.
*Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of practice.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
