Our client, a Greater Manchester Council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their MASH Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Triaging incoming safeguarding referrals and conducting initial risk assessments to determine appropriate levels of intervention.
*Gathering and analysing information from partner agencies including health, education, police, and early help services.
*Applying local threshold guidance to assess concerns and identify suitable pathways, including statutory intervention, early help, or signposting.
*Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR and safeguarding protocols.
*Providing safeguarding advice and consultation to professionals across agencies to support consistent and effective practice.
*Participating in multi-agency strategy discussions and contributing to coordinated safeguarding responses.
*Ensuring timely and proportionate responses to concerns, prioritising the safety and welfare of children and young people.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 year’s experience working as a Qualified social worker
