Job Description:
Our client, a Greater Manchester Council, is seeking an Adults Team Manager to join their Peripatetic Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Provide social work management and supervision to social workers and social care assessors.
*Oversee case management, including strength-based assessments, tailored support planning, and reviews in line with the Care Act 2014.
*Manage staff performance, sickness, and annual leave.
*Respond effectively to safeguarding enquiries in accordance with legislation and local policy.
*Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve best outcomes for adults with care and support needs.
*Apply knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and challenge professionally where necessary to ensure residents’ rights and independence are upheld.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
