About the RoleWe are partnering with a successful and growing manufacturing business to recruit a Financial Controller / Finance Director Designate. This is a key leadership position within the finance function, acting as the No.2 to the current Finance Director, with a clear progression path to Finance Director.
The continued involvement of the current Finance Director will depend on the quality and experience of the successful candidate—making this a unique opportunity to demonstrate your capability and accelerate your career trajectory.
Key Responsibilities*Manage day-to-day financial operations and reporting
*Drive improvements in financial controls and processes
*Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
*Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
*Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making
*Provide insight and analysis to influence business performance
About You*ACA or ACCA qualified (or recently qualified)
*Strong experience within a manufacturing environment
*Excellent technical accounting skills and commercial acumen
*Ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively at all levels
*Ambitious and motivated to progress into a Finance Director role
