Job Description:
The Marketing Operations Manager role sits within the UK Marketing function, within the Paid Media DigiHub team. The team manages campaigns across display, paid search, paid social and affiliate channels. This is a key role within the marketing team which will help enable and facilitate smooth marketing operations, particularly focusing on tagging and tracking, reporting, optimisation, audience creation, and shaping data gathering process to generate valuable insights.
They will be responsible for developing on-going and wrap-up reporting and communicating insights to improve overall performance. Additionally, this role will be managing or/and supporting various MarTech projects to drive digital maturity and navigate industry changes and limitations.
Holders of this role are expected to demonstrate an understanding of key trends and areas of innovation which influence the way we interact and engage with our external customers, internal stakeholders and audiences. These could include marketing, new technology, Marketing Automation, Customer Relationship Management, Agile working practices, data application, tech and analytical tools.
Responsibilities for the Ad Ops Manager include:
*Lead and manage tagging and tracking infrastructure, overseeing the implementation, QA, and monitoring of tagging and tracking across the UK markets to ensure accurate data collection for paid media optimisation and reporting.
*Utilising various platforms (such as Content Square, Looker, CM360, Datorama) to conduct in-depth analysis, generates insights, supports paid media strategy and conversion rate improvement
*Manage programmatic/display channel activity, including strategy development, optimisation, compliance monitoring, testing and knowledge sharing with the team.
*Coordinate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to guarantee the seamless operation of financial processes and procedures, addressing any potential challenges or issues that may arise to maintain optimal functionality within finance operations.
*Ensuring that all Biddable Media campaigns are delivered in a consistent and compliant manner by co-ordinating governance and operational issues, ensuring adherence to Global Standards and relevant FIMs
*Provide constructive challenge to existing practices/proposed initiatives and generate new and innovative solutions to address complex issues facing the UK Function
*Apply external market and industry knowledge and benchmarks and internal benchmarks and insights to identify opportunities to improve performance and practices.
You will also showcase the following experience/skillsets:
*Strong, proven experience working in digital marketing, digital media, AdOps, data and analytics or marketing technology environment.
*Strong knowledge of paid media/biddable channels – proven hands-on experience and expertise in Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and other paid platforms such as Meta, Amazon, Google Ads and so on
*Experience of working with Looker/Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics, buying platforms (programmatic, social, search) and tracking/tagging
*Experience of managing campaigns across multi-media and multi-channels
*Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Financial Services is desirable but not essential.
*A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these.
