Logistics Planner – Permanent Opportunity

Are you an experienced Logistics Planner looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading organisation in their sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join their dynamic team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
The Role:
*Plan and optimise daily deliveries (including wide loads) using company and third-party transport.
*Ensure routes comply with driver hours and are achievable.
*Source cost-effective hauliers and manage purchase orders.
*Handle last-minute changes and urgent orders with confidence.
*Liaise with Sales and Operations to meet delivery schedules.
*Complete all export delivery processes and paperwork.
What We’re Looking For:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics planning.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Excellent IT skills and financial awareness.
*Good UK geographical knowledge and understanding of driver hours.
*Ability to work under pressure and deliver outstanding customer service.
*Driving Licence due to location.
Shift Pattern: 6.30am–4pm, 8am–5pm, 9am–6.30pm (must be available for all).
