Job Description:
TPF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a long-established independent accountancy practice in Ramsgate who are looking to appoint a Practice Bookkeeper to join their growing team of five. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, friendly firm in a varied, client-focused role.
The Role
*This is a an all-round bookkeeping position with responsibility for managing a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, support clients with software, and help maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
*Full bookkeeping duties for multiple clients
*Preparing accounts up to trial balance
*Completing VAT returns and CIS submissions
*Supporting clients with software
*Providing client-facing support and guidance
*Liaising with clients and ensuring a high standard of service
RequirementsCandidate Profile
*Experience within an accountancy practice (ideal)
*Strong bookkeeping skills with excellent accuracy
*Competent user of Quickbooks or Xero
*Confident communicator and comfortable in a client-facing role
*Able to work independently within a small, supportive office
