Job Description:

The role involves global travel of up to 40 per cent of the month.

The Role
As Operations Director you will be responsible for:
• Owning and executing operational plans that support long term growth
• Driving efficiency, quality and cost performance across multiple sites
• Bringing structure, governance and consistency to each location
• Building capability and developing future leaders, supported by the company’s strong talent management framework
• Introducing standardised processes and strengthening operational maturity
• Using lean thinking and data to drive decisions and performance
The Person
You will need:
• Strong manufacturing operations experience, ideally with exposure to multiple sites, or the capability and ambition to take on multisite responsibility
• A record of delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, cost and output
• Solid knowledge of lean and continuous improvement methods
• The confidence to challenge, influence and lead change
• The ability to develop teams and lift leadership capability across sites
• A values led approach that balances pace, quality and safety
This Operations Director role is aimed at an up and comer who is ready for more scope and a genuine step towards Managing Director. If you prefer to step into an environment that needs structure, consistency and higher standards, rather than one that is already polished, you will fit well.
