Persian Language Instructor
Location: King’s Cross, London
Contract: September 2025 – 12 June 2026
Hours: 7 hours per week (6 classroom hours + 1 office hour) ( ideal hours - 4pm-6pm tues/wed/thurs)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Persian Language Instructor to join a leading educational programme in central London. This role involves teaching Modern Persian to postgraduate students from diverse backgrounds, supporting their language learning journey, and contributing to an innovative, multicultural academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging, face-to-face classes in Modern Persian (beginner and intermediate levels).
*Prepare high-quality teaching materials and maintain course content on Moodle.
*Monitor student progress and attendance, providing regular reports.
*Design and update syllabuses, assessments, and learning objectives.
*Mark coursework and examinations, and participate in exam boards.
*Collaborate with programme leaders and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of the curriculum.
Essential Requirements
*Full proficiency in Modern Persian.
*(Post)graduate degree in Persian, applied linguistics, or a related field.
*Experience teaching Persian as a foreign language.
*Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
*Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
*Teaching qualification or experience in FE/HE/adult learning settings.
*Familiarity with Moodle and digital learning tools.
