English Teacher (ECT)

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Inspire students to develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Use data effectively to monitor progress and ensure high attainment
* Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities, and department events
* Participate fully in school life, including CPD sessions, faculty meetings, and extracurricular activities
Person Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working toward it
* Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for English literature and language
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional growth
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
