Job: Finance Manager (6 Months)
Location: Remote
Salary: c£450pd
Length of contract: 6 Months
My client is seeking a hands on Finance Manager for 6 months to join their dynamic finance team. This is a remote position, but you must reside in the UK.
Responsibilities include:
*Leading the preparation of forecasting, budgeting and long-range plans
*Develop accurate and robust financial models to identify opportunities and assess potential risks
*High-level analysis of financial information, supporting and challenging budget holders
*Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
*Ensuring all financial information is in line with reporting standards
*Liaising with the wider finance team to identify areas of improvement for finance systems and processes
*Manage the finance team, ensuring they are meeting their deliverables and delivering timely financial information
The ideal candidate:
*Fully qualified accountant
*Experience working in the public sector
*Proven track record identifying and implementing areas for process improvements
*Comfortable leading and managing a team
