Purchasing Administrator
*Contract Type: Full-time, 6-month contract
*Location: Office-based
*Rate of pay: £15 - £15.90 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to join an established team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in using Oracle, capable of manual ordering processes, and adept at coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to meet deadlines.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Responsible for the accurate receipting of goods and inputting accurate information into the system.
*Maintain high data accuracy in all operations.
*Utilise the Oracle system for various administrative tasks.
*Proactively chase suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
*Collaborate with the team to adhere to project deadlines; coordinate with additional suppliers if deadlines aren’t met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in a similar role within purchasing and logistics.
*Proficient in using Oracle or similar ERP systems.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with various teams.
*Experience in manual ordering processes and document management.
