Department: Gas Installation Department
Role - Planner
Reporting to: Team Leader
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Description
Salary £25,400
This role is for a full-time position within our Gas Installation Department. The main intention is to achieve a high level of control, monitoring and consistency of focus on performance within the department. The role will encompass supporting the existing installations team and taking responsibility for the daily management of allocated engineer diaries. Full training will be provided for this role.
Key responsibilities
· Allocating work to engineers, electricians and builders
· Running weekly job status reports to ensure all works are planned in and any jobs that can be completed and relevant paperwork received
· Planning daily works for the engineers/electricians and builders (diary management)
· Confirming appointments with residents on a daily basis
· Dealing with Clients directly on the phone from all current contracts and by e-mail
· Making sure all works issued have all the relevant information and materials ordered for the job to be completed on that visit
· Checking clients’ asbestos registers when required
· Arranging scaffold if required
· Requesting asbestos reports and arrange asbestos scrapes if required
· Updating planned work list and sending to the clients on a weekly basis
· Chasing order numbers from clients
· To carry out any other reasonable management requests
· Ad hoc duties to support installations department service and delivery
