Corporate Tax Senior / Assistant Manager - Exeter
Clark Wood are currently working with a highly regarded and rapidly expanding firm of chartered accountants in the South West who are seeking a driven and ambitious Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager to join their established and growing corporate tax team.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced corporate tax specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary tax team, supporting on a broad range of compliance and advisory assignments. You will be involved in preparing corporation tax computations and returns, undertaking technical research, assisting with capital allowances, R&D claims, transactional tax work, and due diligence projects, as well as helping deliver restructuring and planning assignments. You will manage projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members as they develop their own technical capabilities.
You will also have regular client interaction and play a key role in maintaining strong working relationships, working collaboratively with colleagues across audit and other service lines. Opportunities to contribute to business development and marketing initiatives are available for those keen to enhance their commercial skill set.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a corporate tax compliance role and will be ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or part-qualified with a strong desire to continue studying). You will have solid technical knowledge, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage deadlines effectively, and strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport quickly. Experience with Alphatax would be advantageous.
