�? Housing Support Worker – Manchester (M1)
Pay: £14–£15 per hour (umbrella rate available)
Hours: 9am–5pm, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary 8-week assignment (potential to extend or go permanent)
Location: Manchester, M1
Requirement: Full clean driving licence & access to your own vehicle

Reed is partnering with a homelessness support organisation in Manchester to recruit a compassionate, motivated individual to help people rebuild their lives. If you’re driven by making a genuine difference, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to support some of the city’s most vulnerable residents.
About the Role
You’ll work directly with people who have been street homeless or vulnerably housed, supporting them as they move into accommodation and start to reconnect with their community. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role, perfect for someone who enjoys helping others thrive.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide person-centred support to individuals moving into accommodation
*Assist with budgeting, benefits, and accessing local services
*Promote independence and build life skills
*Liaise with health professionals, probation staff, and other partner agencies
*Maintain accurate records and safeguard vulnerable adults
What We’re Looking For
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Compassion, resilience, and a commitment to creating positive change
*Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
*Enhanced DBS
