About the RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is for 2.5 days per week, supporting teaching and learning across the school and delivering high-quality interventions. You will also lead whole-class sessions under the guidance of the class teacher.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver planned lessons and interventions in the absence of the class teacher.
*Support teachers in planning and assessing pupil progress.
*Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment.
*Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
*Assist with behaviour management and SEND support where needed.
Requirements*HLTA or equivalent experience.
*Strong understanding of the national curriculum.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable*Experience in literacy and numeracy interventions.
*Knowledge of SEND strategies and behaviour management techniques.
