Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs designed to meet the unique needs of each student.
*Provide one-on-one support to students, focusing on their individual learning and emotional needs.
*Collaborate with SEN teachers to implement effective teaching strategies and behavioural management techniques.
*Help prepare learning materials that cater to a range of learning abilities and styles.
*Facilitate social integration and help students develop interpersonal skills.
*Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to help further support the students’ educational journeys.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an SEN setting.
*Understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
*Strong empathy and resilience, with a proactive approach to solving problems.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with teachers, parents, and other staff.
*A patient and motivating influence on students.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of special education.
