We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school from January 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children with additional needs.
About the Role * Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs

* Supporting children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH

* Assisting the class teacher with learning activities, behaviour support and differentiation

* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, independence and confidence

* Creating a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment

* Working closely with teachers, SENCO and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate * Has strong experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting

* Brings a caring, patient and empathetic approach

* A background in care, support work, youth work or health/social care is highly valued and transferable

* Confident supporting behaviour, routines and emotional needs

* Reliable, proactive and able to work well as part of a team
