Job Description:
Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary)
*Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (4-6 months)
*Location: Preston
*Hours: 8:30AM – 4:30PM, four days a week Tuesday - Friday
*Pay: £30,000 FTE
Day-to-day of the role:
*Answering phone calls and addressing queries in a professional manner.
*Matching delivery tickets with invoices, verifying the accuracy of quantities and prices charged.
*Inputting invoices into Sage and reconciling these with statements.
*Ensuring the total figures to be paid are correct and balance with Sage records.
*Collaborating with the office team, which includes administrative staff, Quantity Surveyors, and senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk role or similar.
*Strong proficiency with Sage accounting software.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
*Ability to multitask and manage various financial documents.
*Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
