Hours: 37.5 per week with flexitime
Salary: Up to £34,000 + Annual Bonus
A well-established company, renowned for its exceptional service and excellent staff retention, is seeking a customer-focused Account Manager to join its friendly team. This position plays a key role in delivering outstanding service to incoming enquiries and quotation requests while fostering long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
*Customer Service: Respond promptly to client requests for quotations and product information, ensuring professional and timely service.
*Account Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow accounts through excellent service.
*Quoting & Pricing: Prepare and follow up on quotations, collaborating with internal teams to ensure competitive pricing.
*Order Management: Process purchase orders, manage payments, and ensure customer requirements are fully met.
*Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
*Team Collaboration: Participate in quarterly business reviews and contribute to achieving team goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Experience: Proven experience in Account Management or Customer Service, ideally within a technical or product-based environment.
*Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
*Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Excel; experience with SAP is advantageous.
*Personal Traits: Proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable.
