Accounts Senior
*Location: Glasgow
*Job Type: Full-time (35 hours p/w)
Are you looking to grow your career in a supportive and collaborative environment? A well-established accountancy firm is seeking a full-time Accounts Senior to join their Accounting and Business Services Team based in Glasgow.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
*Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, LLP’s and partnerships.
*Prepare and carried out independent examinations for our larger charities and trusts
*Attend and work at client premises, as necessary
*Responding to phone and email enquiries, escalating issues appropriately
*Build strong, professional relationships with clients
*Provide day-to-day support and guidance for junior team members
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*ACCA or CA qualified, with broad and well-developed accounting expertise.
*Strong numerical and data analysis skills with excellent attention to detail.
*Advanced accounts preparation experience gained within a professional practice.
*Able to develop effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
*Commercially minded, client-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
*Highly organised, capable of handling several responsibilities simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
*Strong technical understanding with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
*Demonstrates high standards of personal and professional performance, taking accountability for work delivered.
*Confident with cloud accounting software, particularly Xero and Sage.
*Experience using accounts production software considered advantageous
