No experience in the training and presenting side of the role is required.
We’re seeking a confident, customer-focused Automotive VDA & bodyshop expert to deliver high-quality VDA software training across the North of the UK, both virtually and face-to-face. This is a remote role with regular travel to sites, offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to become a recognised software training expert in your field.
You’ll be fully trained and supported on all training content, presentation skills, and delivery methods, making this an excellent transition role for someone who knows the automotive bodyshop world inside out and wants to move into learning & development.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Regional Training Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging, professional training that helps customers get maximum value from VDA solutions particularly within the Automotive bodyshop and insurance repair sector.
You’ll combine your technical credibility and undertake full training to develop your presentation delivery capabilities, supporting both learning outcomes and wider business objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Delivering VDA software training to customers, both on-site and virtually, ensuring clear knowledge transfer and high learner engagement
*Developing, updating, and improving training materials (presentations, guides, and resources)
*Working closely with the wider training team to identify needs, design programmes, and plan delivery schedules
*Evaluating learner performance and providing constructive, confidence-building feedback
*Staying current with VDA standards, industry trends, and best practices, embedding these into training content
*Building strong, trusted relationships with customers and acting as a professional ambassador for training services
*Continuously refining training methods to improve quality, efficiency, and learner experience
*Supporting sales activity as a subject matter expert, helping to close training opportunities
*Collaborating with Professional Services colleagues on major projects such as platform migrations
*Working to KPIs focused on training quality, customer satisfaction, and commercial outcomes
*Partnering with Sales and Revenue Operations to support revenue targets
What We’re Looking For
This role would particularly suit someone from a bodyshop, accident repair, or insurance repair background who enjoys coaching others and presenting with confidence.
You’ll bring:
*Strong VDA knowledge (VDA certification highly valued), especially within the bodyshop segment
*No experience is required in delivering training, coaching, or mentoring-formally or informally - this can be learned, taught, trained.
*Ability to re-train and learn new presentation and communication skills, combined with expertise in VDA and the ability to explain complex systems clearly
*Natural credibility with automotive professionals and strong relationship-building skills
*A flexible, adaptable mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
*Strong organisation and time management skills
*Willing to learn and use virtual training platforms and digital tools
*Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland as required
