We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director with a background in life sciences startups and direct involvement in Seed funding. The FD will lead all aspects of finance, overseeing financial planning, reporting, compliance, and investor relations, while playing a key role in fundraising, budgeting, and long-term strategy.
As Finance Director Key Responsibilities Include:
*Lead finance operations including reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
*Ensure strong financial governance and compliance.
*Support funding rounds and provide financial insight to investors and stakeholders.
*Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic decisions.
Experience & Skills Required:
*Proven experience as an FD or CFO in a high-growth life sciences startup.
*Strong track record in financial modelling, investor relations, and reporting.
*Excellent grasp of accounting and corporate finance principles.
*Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
*ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
