We are seeking multiple Cleaners to join our team and provide high-quality cleaning services within the College. Reporting to the Estates Manager, this role is crucial in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for both students and staff.

Shifts to cover:

6:30am - 8:30am

6:30am - 9:30am

1:30pm - 6:00pm

Start ASAP


Day-to-day of the role:
*Undertake thorough and hygienic cleaning of designated areas within the College, including emptying bins, cleaning floors, dusting, polishing, and cleaning glass and surfaces.
*Regularly check student and staff toilets, ensuring an adequate supply of paper towels and toilet tissue.
*Monitor supplies of consumables and report low stock levels to the Cleaning Coordinator in a timely manner for reordering.
*Adhere to the College’s policies and procedures regarding the safeguarding and welfare of students.
*Promote and implement the College’s Single Equality Scheme by valuing diversity and promoting equality.
*Apply the College’s Health & Safety policy and procedures within your area of responsibility.
*Support and promote the College’s mission and values.
*Engage in continuous improvement of the services offered by the College.
*Perform other reasonable duties as required, commensurate with the role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in a cleaning role, preferably within an educational or similar environment.
*Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Understanding of health and safety regulations.
