We’re recruiting a Senior Sales Ledger for a maternity cover contract running until the end of October. This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident in sales ledger management, credit control, and reporting, with line management experience an added advantage.
About the Role
As the Senior Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the overall management of the sales ledger function and one sales ledger clerk. You’ll ensure accurate invoicing, timely debt management, and reliable financial reporting, supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis as required.
Key Responsibilities
*Line management of the sales ledger clerk.
*Full responsibility for sales ledger processes, including:
*Maintaining and updating invoicing spreadsheets
*Issuing invoices
*Sending debt reminders and managing debt letters
*Debtor reports
*Processing refunds
*Cash allocation

*Supporting the finance team with general reporting tasks
