Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team in Shoreham. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Support the senior management accountant with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
*Help in maintaining and updating financial records.
*Participate in the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts payable and receivable.
*Assist with the preparation of year-end audit files and liaise with auditors.
*Analyse financial data and create reports for management.
*Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
*Work closely with other teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably as an Assistant Management Accountant.
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
*Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
*Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
*Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing financial information.
*Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; part-qualified ACCA/CIMA is highly desirable.
