Job Description:
Our client is based in Hastings and due to their continual growth, we are delighted to be recruiting for Extruder Operativesto join their team.
Main Duties
*Running and cleaning machinery.
*Monitoring the production line.
*Running machines.
*Doing quality checks of products.
*Keeping work areas and the factory floor clean.
*Informing supervisors of any issues.
*Must comply with company’s health and safety regulations at all times.
*Full training will be given.
*Heavy lifting, standing and floor work will be required in various departments.
Qualifications And Experience
*Strong organisational skills.
*Ability and willingness to learn new skills.
*Good time keeping.
*Punctual, reliable, and want a long-term position.
*Must be enthusiastic hardworking individuals.
*Able to perform all tasks required of them some of which are physical.
*Own transport would be beneficial owing to our location and not relying on public transport as with shifts has proven difficult.
*Manufacturing experience - not essential but beneficial.
*Work within a team and some standalone duties.
Working Hours
*Shift work – must be available to attend any of the three shifts without exception.
*Monday to Friday.
*6am - 2pm, 2.30pm - 10pm and 10.30pm - 6.30am.
