Senior Paraplanner
Cambridge - minimum of 3 days a week in the office (after probation)
Salary £50,000 - £60,000
We are currently working with a highly regarded, Independent Financial Advice manager who are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their growing team. This company is an established, "household" name in the industry with multiple offices across the UK.
You will join the team in an exciting growth period for the business, and as a key member of the technical team, you’ll work closely with Advisers and Administrators in a pod structure, supporting on high-net-worth clients.
As a Senior Paraplanner, you will provide support and guidance to less experienced paraplanners with involvement in process changes and improvements where required, alongside coaching and training of more junior members of the team.
You will deliver exceptional financial planning support across high-net-worth clients on investments, pensions, tax, estate planning. This role is ideal for someone who is very technical, and thrives in a client-focused environment and enjoys being the point of contact for technical queries.
This includes: understanding recommendations, constructing financial plans via investment research, suitability report writing, illustrations & calculations, recommendations and cashflow modelling.


What we’re looking for:
*Experience in a Paraplanning position
*Level 4 qualified as a minimum, via CII, LIBF, or FPC
*Studying towards Level 6 is desirable
*Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, tax, estate planning and other products
*Confident using research tools
