Job Description:
Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist
London
Salary: up to £40,000 - £45000 DOE per annum.
Our well established client is looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client has multiple clinic locations as well as satellite clinics in several schools. This role is to deliver occupational therapy to children from 0-19 years old with a variety of difficulties.
Main duties and responsibilities:
*Identifying the set of activities and motivations that might help patients work towards their goals.
*Helping children with disabilities perform different activities such as dressing, eating and walking.
*Educating the patients’ families and friends about the right way to accommodate and care for them.
*Recommending special equipment and, as well as instructing patients on how to use the equipment.
*Documenting and assessing the patient’s activities and progress, as well as creating review reports.
*Seeing up to 6 children a day (45mins sessions).
Qualifications and skills:
*HCPC Registered.
*Paediatric Occupational Therapist experience (minimum 4 years preferred)
*Experience in using a Sensory Integration treatment approach
*Excellent communication skills
