Piano Tutor
*Hourly Rate: £25.62
*Location: Various schools and centres across Rotherham
*Job Type: Flexible, including some evenings and Saturdays
We are seeking talented Piano Tutor to deliver high-quality instrumental tuition across Rotherham schools and music centres. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about promoting musical engagement and progression, and who thrive in a dynamic teaching environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Teach individuals, small groups, and classes on your main instrument and related instruments.
*Plan lessons, maintain registers, assess student progress, and provide reports.
*Prepare pupils for exams and performances.
*Support and lead ensembles, concerts, and workshops.
*Maintain loan instruments and resources.
*Attend meetings and continuous professional development (CPD) sessions.
*Adhere to safeguarding, equality, and council policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Grade 8 or above on your principal instrument.
*Proven experience teaching in schools or music centres.
*Thorough knowledge of safeguarding and SEN Code of Practice.
*Ability to work flexibly and travel across the borough.
*Enhanced DBS check required.
Working Pattern:
*Piano: 1.5 days per week
*Additional evening and Saturday work as required.
