Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Castle Donington

A pioneering engineering firm is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and delivery of cutting-edge turbomachinery-based products. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving innovation in manufacturing and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
*New Product Introduction: Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability, tolerancing, and supplier alignment.
*Sourcing & Supply Chain Design: Evaluate supplier capabilities and scale supply chains from prototype to volume production.
*Capability Acquisition: Identify and mature new manufacturing technologies to meet design and cost targets.
*Quality Planning: Apply APQP principles to ensure robust quality systems.
*Production Support: Resolve manufacturing issues and ensure delivery with full conformance documentation.
What You’ll Bring
*Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
*Significant experience in manufacturing engineering or a related discipline.
*Experience with turbomachinery components such as rotors, casings, aerofoils, and fabrications.
*Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
*Flexibility to work across tasks and adapt to evolving priorities.
