An established UK-based independent financial planning and wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team. The RoleAs a Paraplanner, you will support Financial Advisers by delivering high-quality research, analysis and suitability reports across a broad range of financial planning areas. You will work to agreed service levels and contribute to maintaining high technical and regulatory standards across the team.
Key Responsibilities*Conduct comprehensive financial research on products and investments using approved research tools
*Prepare bespoke investment and financial planning reports within agreed SLAs
*Analyse existing investment portfolios against appropriate benchmarks
*Prepare and interpret complex financial planning and transfer analysis information
*Research and review new and existing legislation, products and technical guidance
*Support firm-wide research projects where required
*Escalate complex cases to senior team members when appropriate
Essential Experience & Skills*Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
*Experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA or financial planning environment
*Strong knowledge of personal financial planning and suitability report construction
*Excellent written, numerical and report-writing skills
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Confident user of Microsoft Office
Risk & Compliance Responsibilities*Deliver accurate research, calculations and financial planning reports
*Adhere to service level agreements and internal processes
*Support the technical and regulatory development of advisers and paraplanners
*Ensure appropriate escalation of complex or higher-risk cases
