Job Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for temporary and ongoing assignments based in East London. This role is ideal for professional drivers seeking flexible work within our reputable client across the logistics and distribution sector.
Key Responsibilities
*Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in line with road transport legislation
*Carry out trunking, depot-to-depot, work only
*Driving brand new vehicles only
*Complete vehicle checks and report any defects
*Ensure accurate completion of delivery paperwork and digital records
*Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service
*Comply with Working Time Directive (WTD) and Drivers’ Hours regulations
Requirements
*Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
*Valid Driver CPC qualification
*Valid Digital Tachograph Card
*Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience essential due to client insurance policy
*No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN convictions)
*Good knowledge of UK road networks, particularly London routes
*Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
Shift Details
*Days, nights, weekdays, and weekend shifts available
*Flexible start times depending on client requirements
*Part-time and full-time temporary work available
*Ongoing work available once successfully pass of the 1 day trial assessment day ( this is paid)
