School Administrator – Full-Time

Location: Camberwell, London

Salary: £18.80 per hour (approximately £35,000 annually)

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We’re looking for a highly organised School Administrator to ensure the smooth running of our daily operations. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in supporting a committed team and contributing to an environment where students thrive.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
*Oversee the efficient management of the school office and administrative processes.
*Maintain accurate school records in line with DfE regulations.
*Provide essential support to the Senior Leadership Team, teachers, and staff.
*Manage admissions, attendance, and student files with safeguarding and GDPR compliance.
*Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
*Organise school events, trips, and extracurricular activities.
*Assist with HR tasks, including recruitment and staff absence monitoring.
*Handle financial administration such as invoices, supplies, and budget tracking.
*Ensure a safe, well-organised office environment and act as the first point of contact for visitors.
*Provide first aid support and oversee pupil medication administration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
*At least two years’ experience in a school-based office role.
*Proficiency in Bromcom or similar MIS systems.
*Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office.
*Excellent organisational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
