Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum

Macildowie is delighted to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant on behalf of a well-established and growing logistics business based in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently

* Matching, batching and coding invoices

* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

* Handling supplier queries via phone and email

* Processing payments and maintaining accurate records

* Assisting with month-end duties

* Supporting the wider finance team as required

About You: * Previous experience in a purchase ledger / accounts payable role

* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

* Confident communicator with good relationship-building skills

* Well organised with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

* Team player with a proactive approach
