Venn Group have been engaged on a search for a detail-driven Partnership Accountant to join an internationally recognised London Law Firm. The role will initially be a temporary position but there will certainly be permanent opportunities for the right person.
The successful candidate will be available to start on short notice (maximum 2 weeks) and should be able to commute to the City of London on a hybrid basis. Applicants must have prior Partnership Accounting experience as the role requires a fast starter.
Responsibilities:
*Maintain and reconcile partner current accounts
*Manage drawings, distributions, and profit-share calculations
*Coordinate with external advisors on the annual partnership tax computation
*Provide data for partner tax returns and ensure tax payments are accurate and timely
*Oversee partner onboarding/offboarding, including capital contributions and exit reconciliations
*Handle partner commissions, benefit deductions, and charitable donations
*Act as the main contact for partner financial queries and improve reporting where needed
Requirements:
*Strong Partnership Accounting experience, ideally within a Law Firm
*Solid understanding of partnership tax and partner remuneration structures
*Confident communicator who can work closely with senior stakeholders
*Organised, proactive, and comfortable owning processes end-to-end
