Interim Financial Controller ?? Carlisle | ? Interim Contract | ?? Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support a business based in Carlisle during a key period.
This is a hands-on role suited to a confident finance professional who can quickly step in, provide stability, and add value from day one.
Key Responsibilities: * Full oversight of the finance function

* Production and review of monthly management accounts

* Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management

* Leading and supporting the finance team

* Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance

* Providing financial insight and support to senior leadership

* Supporting process improvements and business decision-making

About You: * Proven experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance role

* Strong technical accounting knowledge

* Confident managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

* Comfortable working in an interim / change environment

* Qualified or qualified by experience (ACA / ACCA / CIMA desirable)

The Role: * Interim contract with an option of a permanent role.

* Based in Carlisle (hybrid options may be considered)

* Competitive day rate / salary depending on experience
