Robert Half are currently seeking an experienced Group Audit/ Financial Reporting Lead to join a South West-based client on a 5-month contract (inside IR35). This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA professional with strong UK statutory audit experience to make an immediate impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Role: Interim Audit/Financial Reporting Lead
Contract Length: 5 months
Location: South West - remote after initial on-site visit (Cornwall)
Following an initial visit to the Cornwall office for introductions and equipment collection, the role will be largely remote.
What’s on offer:
*Predominantly remote working after initial on-site visit
*Lead and deliver high-quality audits in line with UK ISAs, UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS
*Work closely with the UK finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
*Act as a key liaison between auditors and finance, ensuring smooth and efficient audit delivery
What we’re looking for:
*ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
*Strong UK statutory audit and financial reporting experience
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Hands-on, collaborative, and delivery-focused approach
