Experienced Cover Supervisor - Secondary School (Liverpool) Full-Time | Via Tradewind Recruitment
Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a large and well-regarded secondary school in Liverpool to recruit an experienced Cover Supervisor for a full-time position.
This role is ideal for a confident and resilient professional with strong behaviour management skills and proven experience working within a secondary school environment.
The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-set work

* Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently

* Ensuring students remain on task and engaged in learning

* Following school behaviour policies and reporting incidents accurately

* Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

* Supporting the wider school team as required

The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or working in a secondary school (essential)

* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain control of the classroom

* Confident, calm and professional approach

* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

* Reliable, flexible and committed to full-time work
