Experienced Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School
Location: Southwark, South East London
Agency: Tradewind Recruitment
Start Date: After February Half Term
Pay: £90 -£100 per day (PAYE)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Southwark, who are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team after February half term.
This is a full-time role, running until July at the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue into September 2026 for the right candidate.
The Role: * Supporting pupils across the primary age range in a mainstream classroom setting
* Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and behaviour
* Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
* Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will: * Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school
* Be confident supporting children with a range of learning needs
* Be reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
