Catering Assistant - Secondary School - Wirral
Are you reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working in a fast-paced food environment?
We’re looking for a Catering Assistant to join a friendly secondary school on the Wirral, supporting the day-to-day running of the school kitchen and helping provide nutritious meals to students and staff.
What you’ll be doing:
* Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and drinks

* Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times

* Washing up, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maintaining a tidy workspace

* Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures

* Supporting with stock rotation and basic food preparation where required

What we’re looking for:
* Someone available to work during school hours, Monday to Friday (term time)

* Experience in a kitchen or catering environment (desirable but not essential)

* A good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices

* A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude

* Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
